Project Area

The feasibility study examined the seven counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Page, Rockbridge, Rockingham, and Shenandoah and the five cities of Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton, and Waynesboro. All 12 localities are located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. This project has the potential to reduce common market-entry barriers for new food-related startups and aid in the growth of existing food businesses.
